Bonnie and her husband Mike have been married for 25 years and have two children, Michaela, a graduate student at The Ohio State University, and Josiah, a senior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.
At the age of 22, God called Bonnie into ministry right here at Heritage Church. She studied Human Services at Northwest State Community College, and Ministerial studies at Epic Bible College in Sacramento California. Bonnie’s love for women and her desire to see them walk in the freedom of Christ has been the cornerstone of her years in ministry; She has worked with pregnant mothers in crisis as the Client Services Manager at Alternatives Pregnancy Center, as well as with children in her role as Administrative Assistant at Capital Christian Elementary, both in Sacramento. Bonnie currently serves as the Director of Rebekah’s Haven in downtown Toledo, a homeless shelter for mothers with children and is actively pursuing her pastoral credentialing through The Church of God.
Bonnie’s passion for the Word of God and seeing lives changed through the truths of its pages defines her approach to Women’s Ministry and beyond. Her love is in the journey alongside people as God transforms hearts in order that others would know Him and grow into all He has created us to be!
